Scenario 2: Managing Conflicts

You work for a tech company developing AI governance tools. ETHOS asks you to help develop competing open-source standards. Your employer hasn't explicitly forbidden outside work.

Scenario 3: Human Oversight Priorities

Your organisation wants to deploy AI to process customer complaints. The system is 95% accurate, faster than humans, and will save significant costs. However, it means fewer customer service jobs.

Scenario 4: Open vs. Proprietary

You've developed an excellent AI governance checklist for ETHOS. A commercial vendor wants to include it in their paid product. They'll give credit but not share revenues.

Scenario 5: Long-term Stewardship

ETHOS has limited resources. You can either: (A) Run 5 small local events reaching 150 people this quarter, or (B) Build reusable templates and training materials that will serve thousands over time but show no immediate impact.
